The super cigarette (also known as the electric cigarette and e-cigarette) is an alternative to the traditional cigarette that allows you to breathe in vaporized nicotine, without the tobacco. The super electronic cigarette operates like a cigarette; when you draw on the device, nicotine is vaporized. When you have finished, the device automatically turns off. Since it does not contain any tobacco, you are still legally able to smoke the device in any location, regardless of the smoking ban.
Smoke is emitted; however, it has no characteristic smell. If at all, it does have a somewhat pleasant odor, that too without the normal carcinogens which are present in conventional cigarettes such as, tar, carbon monoxide, and arsenic. Since the super cigarette produces a hot smoke which resembles and looks very much like smoke, smokers of conventional variety are quick to get accustomed to the e-cigarette in place of nicotine gum, patches or inhaler.

Recent advancements in high-resolution small animal imaging systems have made this technology and equipment vital to any small animal research laboratory. There are many benefits to using High Resolution In Vivo Micro Imaging Systems.
Recently, high-resolution small animal imaging systems have been developed to aid in the research of a number of diseases such as cancer. These high resolution imaging tools and applications allow researchers to screen small animals using non invasive techniques and applications for such tasks as detecting mutations, charting the progression of certain diseases, and monitoring how diseases respond to particular therapies. There are many advantages to using high resolution in vivo micro imaging systems in small animal research which makes them an invaluable tool in laboratory research.
X-ray Microcomputed Tomography (microCT)
X-ray Microcomputed Tomography high resolution imaging technique is proving to be a cost-effective method for detecting and describing tumors, abnormalities in skeletal structures, as well as soft-tissue structures in small live animals such as rodents. Using this form of high resolution imaging has been showing positive results in the research of lung cancer, prostate cancer, and bone tumors

If you’re looking for motivation to exercise on the job, just look around the office. Chances are, you’ll see at least a few examples of those who have made excuses not to move much at work – then extended it to evenings and weekends. As we become an increasingly tech-based work world, fewer and fewer jobs give us much opportunity to really move around – much less exert ourselves.
It’s a sedentary work world, people. If that word seems familiar, it might be from the up-and-coming medical term “Sedentary Death Syndrome (SeDS),” which researchers describe as a cluster of inactivity-related diseases like heart disease, diabetes and colon cancer. Of the 750,000 people who die from those diseases each year, researchers believe one-third (250,000) could be prevented by physical activity.

Sony Ericcson comes with a new application to accompany you during your exercise to stay healthy and fit. Walk mate is a pedometer application which counts your steps while you are walking once it is activated. It will count your steps daily and summarize them in one week chart. This application is usually already planted in the phone you buy. However, your Sony Ericcson does not have it yet, you can always download it from the official website for free.

To activate it, go to the Application folder and select the Walk Mate application. In your screen, you will see a chart with a small icon of white man figure. Press the button to start the counting. You can minimize the application and then put your cell phone in your pocket while you are walking. However, you may find it difficult if you have to go to the application page to see your progress. There is a smart move for this. You can make it as wallpaper so you can easily check your steps counting.
